    How rare is "rare"?

I've seen people write that RHD bays are rare. So how rare is "rare" where early bays are concerned? Monkey

Renewing fuel lines and filler neck.

I looked in the "Products" section on the website Graham but couldn't see the fuel line kit. Am I looking in the wrong place?

If you had £300 to spend on a new door...

Awwww SiDev! I'd just got my head around ordering a door from Rusty and you go and throw that in!   I'm pretty sure the doglegs aren't original as the gaps are already all over the shop, plus the front end's had a smack on the corner at some point and needs straightening out...

    Ultimate bus playlist

I found an old ipod with loads of John Peel Festive Fifty compilations, it's been on constant play in the daily driver.

If you had £300 to spend on a new door...

Hi Rusty I'm going to double check this weekend which door is the most shagged, did you say you have some driver's doors coming in soon? Cheers Monkey

If you had £300 to spend on a new door...

I need a new door as my offside one is shot to bits. Complete new doors on JK and VW Heritage are about the £300 quid mark, my questions are; (1) are these new doors up to scratch compared to an original and (2) what sort of original door could I get for the same money from somewhere like FBi or...

    justkampers new cover

I've just bought the new JK cover after having on of their older ones for 3 years. I've only had it on for 2 days but so far I'm really impressed, the fit is nice and snug without too much flapping about and the material looks sturdy. I looked at it this morning and the rain had beaded quite...

    Cover recommendations

Just had a look at the Hamilton ones and they don't have the openings that the JK ones do. I've found it really convenient to be able to get in and out of the bus without having to take the whole cover off. Now, do JK do a discount for being on earlybay??? :D

    Cover recommendations

The bloody wind's just made mincemeat of my old JK cover, mind you it was a bit old and getting a bit tatty! I can't leave the bus outside in the crappy weather uncovered so I need a new one sharpish! I quite liked the old JK one and see that the new version is thicker for not much more than I...

Anyone installed a VW Heritage hard start relay?

Cheers for the replies! I'm going bag it and stick it near the starter motor for now then move it next winter when I get the engine out! Thanks again Monkey

Anyone installed a VW Heritage hard start relay?

I've bought one but the Internet has made me paranoid... Lots of other kits have a 15amp fuse but the Heritage one doesn't, is it a necessity or am I ok without one? Also the supplied wires are not long enough to position it in the engine bay, will it be a disaster to fit it near the starter but...

    Buy a bike

Also keep a little by in your budget for some cycling shorts, you don't have to go full lycra as you can get normal looking shorts but make sure they have some padding! And get lights... And a helmet!!

    SEXist vintage advert

I'm pretty sure people were getting offended before the "PC crew" got in. I'd rather my daughters don't have to grow up in a world where they are made to feel they're crap because they're female. Just saying!
