    Oil cooler / oil pump

I wonder if I could pick your brains on a Oil light issue.

    Gears sticking in 1st n 3rd

Seems strange, I would perhaps look at the plate adjustment in the cab to see if you can stop it doing this. Along with making sure the bushes on the road underneath are good.

    Gears sticking in 1st n 3rd

This pin is sprung loaded from memory and should be pushed into the socket where it stays tight. It does require it wobbling into the socket before being tightened. Maybe the cause.

    Your interiors.

You sticking with the original cooler box or having a fride setup. I have the same as you albeit I just noticed that you have an extra hold on the slide out concealed bit behind the seats.

    Fridges

Thanks for the info, just pondering to buy a Coolbox or go for a 3 way fridge for my bay window Dormobile. The only problem with a fridge is I have limited depth. But if I planned a cooler bob I could accomodate it on the rebuild of the original units but adapt to make an area if that makes...

    Tailgate inside opener

I have had a thought on this if the lever is low down it might not work with mine as I have a Dormobile and the bed is stepped up about 5" at the back as there is storage under the bed to put the buddy seats. I might have a look and see if I can modify a door lock with a leaver that's half way...

    Tailgate inside opener

That could be the one. I will have a look at Westfalia. Thought it would be pretty cool to be able to open in the morning without getting out of bed.

    Tailgate inside opener

I have either had a dream or seen somewhere where there is a specific year that you could open the rear tailgate from the inside. Anyone know about this and where I can get one if they exist. I have a 72 Crossover I want it in.

    Progress Pics - Dormobile X-Over

Long time no post. Work and life getting in the way. Seats are in for a retrim and the trimmer wanted me to check before he continues. I think I am going to be happy with the final result. She will be getting all seatsback to framework and re padding and finishing. Proper order.

    Steering wheel repair

Done the same thing whilst removing the steering wheel. Now back to normal. Minus a spray. I used EVO-STIK Hard & Fast Metal Epoxy Putty, Sets Steel Hard in 10 Minutes, Colour: Grey, 50g stick It was on Amazon for £6:94. Works a treat. Although I did leave a little too much on so I had to sand...

    Dormobile cooker gas…

God only knows what they were thinking keeping pressurised gas in an engine bay. If I had that in the bay and there was ever a fire(God forbid) I would be scared to go near it to try and put it out. I guess it's a hazzard but not as much as a hazzard than I think as they would have fitted...

    Dormobile cooker gas…

I don't like the idea of it at all. I think my idea of behind the drivers seat is a good option.

    Dormobile cooker gas…

OK the update from a Dormobile member: According to mine, which I believe is standard, the gas bottles are stored opposite the battery in the engine bay. You can fit two 907 size bottles there, so you can keep a spare - there should be a retaining strap. The line goes through past the spare...

    Dormobile cooker gas…

My understanding is that it pops though the bulk head and is routed under the van to the cupboard behind the drivers seat. I am yet to see one though. I am a member of the Dormobile FB group so I will ask on there, it's something I need to know too.

    OIL LIGHT Shining bright.

OK, thanks for the heads up. I still have access to the dash so that's good. I will switch it out. Did I also read that the indicators are on this same loop?

    OIL LIGHT Shining bright.

Did you get this sorted. I have just had a few days panicing and reading everything about Oil pressure switches and why mine was perminatly on. So excuse the punn but I had a lightbuld moment literally. So a few months ago I changed all my Dash bulbs to LED's indicators, oil, gen, main beam etc...
