From my own horrific experience, driving through Paris in a RHD Early Bay is best avoided... :shock: If you've got a left hooker might be better but not much - I'll never forget the numerous laps I did around the Arc de Trioumphe, simply because the wife thought it was 'somewhere we MUST go'...

I just go for a steering lock and remove the rotor arm!

I think there was a thread about this recently, I think the title was, 'clean look engine bays' or something similar. Beware though, you'll never look at yours the same again! Matt

Hi, My sliding door on my 1970 RHD Westy will not lock/unlock from the inside, it opens no problem but the small lever to lock does not move at all! It never has to be honest and while it's not a big deal, just niggling me! I'm guessing there is some sort of adjustment? Cheers, Matt

Was there also sound deadening on the floor above the engine bay?

Hi All, I've got a non walthrough westy (it's a south African SO67R)and the top of the bulkhead seems to have some threaded holes every so often that no doubt at some point held something on! Any ideas/pics as to what it might be or look like? Thanks!

Hi, When my engine was out I decided to clean my tank - I took it to a place near Walsall ( not sure where you are) , they primarily re-conditioned radiators for classic cars but happily did my fuel tank. They cleaned it with some kind of acid to get rid of the crap, but recommended not sealing...
