    Running like a dog

This, I’m afraid, is one of those times when a professional VW Aircooled mechanic is required. They’ll have it sorted in minutes.

    Newbie

Just kidding, of course. I am certain that their hearts are in the right place, even if their turn signal lenses are not. And I concur: keeping the numbers up for annual events is not easy. When VW folk move on from VW buses to something else, they are not banished (as long as they remember to...

Reversing Lights? Do they have them?

When you finally get your reverse lights sorted, replace the incandescent bulbs with retina-searing LEDs. You can thank me later.

I replaced vital, important parts today! The engine lid support? It has that metal rod which rides on two, little, metal wheels? I replaced my little, metal wheels today, and I’m chuffed. Here are some FAQs: “Were the old ones broken?” No, they worked fine, even 50 years later. “Then why did...

    Vent plate differences?

Odd question: Is the vent plate (behind the walkthrough area mat) the same size on all Baywindow models (T2a and T2b)? The reason that I ask is that the stainless steel ones that are available in the UK add shipping charges of £30 over here to the Colonies. There is a source over here, but it...
