I had my windshield wiper arms powder coated silvery-grey, but put on stainless steel wipers. They were relatively inexpensive; purchased from a boater/marine supplier.

If you’re running a 34PICT3, the stock distributor is a 211 905 205Q. The “curve” (?) is made for a bus. I use one of those with a Pertronix and am happy. There really is a difference between distributors intended for Beetles and ones intended for a bus.

The problem that have found is that most new pumps don’t have the mounting screw holes at the right distance. The ones from Bus Depot have the right holes but the handle and spigot are not a match. I save my old ones in hopes of successfully replacing the “o” rings but find it’s a lot easier...
