Thanks for providing me with that link, very informative, and i'm not afraid to admit i might be wrong on this one  . I may consider looking out for some flaps if i'm pulling my engine at some point  , but i'll carry on being the guinea pig at the moment as i've had no probs :D .

    Front wheel arches

I believe the later type arches have a slightly flared lip on them. The repro panels are not the best fit, but can be fiddled with to get to an acceptable standard. I have a spare JK front wheelarch panel you can have cheap as chips if you want, but its best to change the complete arch/inner...

    thermostat and flaps?

Ripped mine out, never had them fitted on my first bus and removed them when i had my current engine out. I was concerned about them sticking and causing overheating, you can also lift the fan housing up a lot higher without that stupid linkage in the way. Made a dynamo swap an absolute doddle...

    lower that bus

Weld in some adjusters dude, that way you will always have the peace of mind you can go back to stock with little effort  . I think there will become a time when people will start turning their heads when they see a stock height bus. They also have the advantage of being easier to fix at...

    External cooler Q

We fitted one to my brothers split, you can buy a pump assembly that comes with a cover plate with two hose connections which you can attach to cooler feed and return pipe too. We initially tried the type which has the oil feed exit from the pump cover plate and the oil return pipe enter where...

Who make the best van cover?

I am really disappointed with my JK cover, the water can penetrate the fabric and it then locks the moisture in to do even more damage  I've just been out to check the cover and the water has run down inside it and is sitting in the turned up bits at the bottom. I have ordered a pro...
