we've had this very same discussion on the late bay..... i reckon you'd be as well with a decent size hand held (3 litre foam) that said i do have a firetec but i think regular hose checks is the way forward. we know of nobody whos firetec has gone off "in anger" and were discussing if the fan...

I think you'll find it's more likely a april 68, no way a april 67 exists (only in a split) aug 67 is the earliest bay.

I've fitted sliders in my door and rear side window, the seal took a while to work out which way it went but we got there in the end, it's hard to explaing via text but once you get it you'll go "ohhhhhhhhhhh yeah" they look great too.

i'm not a fan or knowlegeable on type 1 engines (mines a fype 4) so check your fuel pump is working - i presume you have a mechanical pump on this van? mine's electric so easy to check, i'd have thought blocked jet would restrict running rather then prevent it, it sounds like this isn't firing...

so find out if you have spark or fuel then it's one of them, just 'cos your tank has fuel it don't mean it's getting there...... just 'cos the plugs are new don't mean they're sparking.

have you got a spark after it refuses to start? check this, it can only be fuel or spark if it started, dodgy fuel pump or blocked lines/carb or no spark be methodical.

if you use a ctek or suchlike charger to top up the battery you have no issues as you can use it on "supply" setting, I've never had a problem

you need an understanding mrs if you want to camp out on the 14th!

they were used in america to reduce emmisions, you can junk it and pipe straight from engine to air filter i did exactly that, more room and looks tidier too.
