    Sliding door welding

Hi used a good straight piece of 3"x2" just over the width of the door and a leather headed hammer which was not too heavy but substantial enough. Found that it was the bottom edge which had turned up possibly due to heat, it easily formed into nearly the correct shape right away. Needed a...

    Sliding door welding

Hi many thanks for the replies so far, the repair panels were from Schofields and seems o.k. The bottom edge seems to be about a 1/4 of an inch out in places. Will try to adjust as having the welder back is not an option the rest of his work was pretty good.

    Crossovers

Hi my crossover was first registered 11 12 1972 probably think this is one of the later crossovers but someone here will know better than I. It still retains its low lights, larger rear lights and rounded bumpers, so I think it hasn't been messed about with too much during it's life. I simply...

Hi many thanks for your reply. I think I may not have explained myself thoroughly enough. It is the images that other people have put on their posts which I cannot see I have saved your explanation in case I need to load pictures on to the forum.

    Jacks

Hi read the new jack bag and tool roll with great interest. Was wondering what type of jack most people carry around, of course at home I have a very strong trolley jack but in the van I carry a rather heavy bottle jack, think it is from a Landrover. Would be interesting to know what we use...
