Never seem to take pictures of my own vehicles, here’s some from when I bought it.

Rock auto are excellent to deal with, I had an F100 for a bit and it was cheaper to get parts from them than the uk. Choose the slightly more expensive delivery (fedex I think) and all duty etc is done at source so no nasty surprises from the post office!

I think they look okay, but I have them on another vehicle and I constantly bang my knees or shins on them 🙄, so I’d give it a miss

Just a thought but shouldn’t the van be on its wheels to check the camber? Looks like it’s on stands in the pic?

My 69 Westy has one

Very low tech, but I always take a garden tap hose end like the one below and 20cm of hose. Amazing how many sites just have a bare tap which soaks your feet when filling the kettle etc.! This makes it much more convenient!

We got ours around 2006 so about 18 years , sadly the last 5 it’s been in the garage other than on the trailer moving to Wales! Need to fix the garage here before I can finish it, frustrating as I was so close before the move.

Here’s mine from 69, looks like the hinge cover is screwed at the rear end. The headlining butts up to the upright section of the cover which goes up into the roof void, hopefully the pictures explain!

I used airsoft bb pellets after reading an article on dynamic balancing. I asked the tyre place to try one on the balancing machine after putting the beads in and it came out perfectly. I’ve been up to 65mph with no viibraton. I can’t find the article now but there are loads of others out...
