    exhaust pop on 1865 engine

    This happens on mine from time to time and is the idle jets blocked or partially blocked but if its running fine otherwise it's prob not the jets. Does it sound rough on idle or when it's revved ?

    Hi, got a K & L front beam fitted and I've realised the brake hose has been chaffing something, probably the track rod so gotta move the hose bracket which is mounted to chassis, has anyone moved theirs and where to ? Thanks for any info :-)

    On Steering boxes, I would have thought the initial costs could be reduced if only the peg and worm were manufactured rather than a whole box. After all its that bit that wears, the rest can be fixed with new seals and bushes. Absolutley but if you have ever had one in bits you will realise...

    Tinware - **** quality and **** fit ! Been trying to find an original rear tin piece, the bit that the exchanger hoses go through and I'm struggling :-(

    scat rocker set up. is this normal?

    They are not supposed to be central on the valve, then when the valve is opened it is turned slightly and so wears evenly in the guide and seat.

    Wanted - piece of rear tinware, the piece that the heater hoses go through, must be genuine VW, been struggling fitting a repro piece, I don't why they even bother makin this stuff ! Thanks Andy
