    Thanks for the comment, not much to update on as have been rebuilding the fence after all the gales After Gwar72 put the link on his thread for the door membranes these turned up.Thanks for the link saved me searching :D I also needed to replace my mates 009 distributor after we robbed it...

    Did you buy the membranes for the doors or did you just use anything you could lay your hands on? i'm surprised at how much water runs through the doors! By the way nice thread 8)

    Just been through the same decision myself. in the end i came to the conclusion that if i took them off and the work needed doing then i would deal with it, and if it was fine then although i would have done all that work removing them at least i would know that it was safe! So removed them and...

    Borrowed it from a friend but certainly does what i want it to do! wire feed can be slightly suspect, but if you keep the gun lead in a nice arc it's ok, it welds smoothly and the controls are simple.

    Crikey thanks for the nice comments :oops: That dam weather, had to work around the rain again today, mission was to weld in the jacking point, back cross member and outrigger. All went ok and got a few pics, got carried away whilst i was pinned down in the van by rain, thought i would try...
