Got to the bottom of the cutting out, the fuel pump was worn. Only pumping out 1 psi when hot, this was also making it run lean before it cut out, lean running = a very hot running engine, cooking cheap coils and condensers to make the problem a little harder to find. A quick fix Tried the bike...

if it is, can i just swap the switch without having to bleed gthe brakes after. Its been a long day lol

my brake lights have stopped working, striped all the rear light down cleaned then, light sanding of all the connection and a tad of copper grease and put it back together, shouted the wife out to stand on the brake pedal, nothing. jacked it up took the connection off the master cylinder and...

my bus ran very hot, then it started cutting out when hot, would'nt hot start etc. Replaced everything, it was a worn fuel pump. ran 3 psi when cold dropped to 1 psi when hot. Got an electric fuel pump on now and its running slightly cooler.

I looked at this bus before I bought mine (pictures only) and it looked absolutely mint inside and out, I take it this was not the case then, I'm sure it was advertised as og paint, but might be wrong on that.
