I've been tweaking away on my sliding door trying to get it to sit right. No matter what I do I just can't get it to pull in at the bottom back corner to line up with the quarter panel. Anyone got any hot tips?

How the hell do the rods meant to work? are they meant to be under tension or do they catch somehow when the door is up. Mine have never worked and I'd like to get them right before I have the roof lining done. Sorry if this is a silly question.

So my spark tells me my alternator is buggered. Something about the wires being soldered before and now there's not enough length or something. These things came with dynamos right? So how do I go about getting a replacement? And is it going to mean dropping the engine??
