Roof rack too big?

I bought a 2 bow ss roof rack and I'm starting to think its too big. If you stand at the front of the bus and look at it, it's bent along roughly the same line as the roof. Both the bows and the rails. I had to pull it down to get it on the gutters eek. Is it possible I've been given the wrong one? I'd of though splitty, eb and lb would all be the same size?

EB and LB are, but splitties are a different width.

My 3 bow one was the same took ages to fit I ended up undoing a load of brackets / bolts on the rack then fixing it to the gutters then tightening it all up again but was poor fit for the price you pay!

I have an old Creative 3 bow SS rack & bought another 2 bow for the front, same story here, the 2 bow one is visibly taller than the 3 bow.

Mandy from Creative said they were the same, but they are clearly not, I know the roof profile is different on the front vs the rear, maybe its to clear the roof line of a Danbury/Brazilian bay, as they are definitely higher on the roof.

Hmm interesting! It looks ok bent but I feel it might of been a splitty one and it's probably not doing my gutters much good if it's really putting pressure on them...

Just looking at pictures of them again on eBay etc and some look flat while other do seem to have a curve. Guess I'll just stick with it until I know any better.
