FS: Westfalia/Campmobile early bay roof canvases

Unfortunately I have some terrible news. We went to pick up canvases and learned the family patriarch has recently had a stroke. As a result VW canvas operations are being suspended for the foreseeable future. Those with pending orders are being contacted and refunded.

They fit in a medium USPS flat rate box. That size box to the UK is currently $66.50 and has been proven to be the cheapest shipping option in the past when sending them overseas vs other couriers. Folks are split with paypal options: the total would be either $301.50 friends/family or $310.55...

FS: Westfalia/Campmobile early bay roof canvases

Oops, I forgot to put the price on the listing here and not just in the link to The Samba. I will do an edit here shortly to remedy that. The price is $250 USD shipped in the US. They fit in one of the Priority Mail USPS flat rate boxes. When trying to determine shipping to a different...

Shipping to Canada wound up costing $50. We also now have a 1975 Riviera canvas we are turning into a template. Late model bay with the luggage rack in the front should be tested for fit in the coming weeks. We are still looking for templates for the other styles for early and late bay...

The one sent to Canada is in transit right now. The total expected time until delivery is 6-10 days according to the post office here in the States.

    The VW Vineyard

The weather has halted most progress on this project. Luckily most of the vines survived the winter. The white westy is gutted and awaiting some repairs, then paint, followed by the new interior. A junk, to me, T3 rear decklid got painted up as a sign.

    New arrival :) 1970 camo

I have the Solex Kadron 40/44s on my 71 beetle paired with a 010 distributor (all my buses are stock for now.) The pipe between the carbs is a balance tube, which I didn't have so I made one out of rubber hose. If you want to use a vacuum advance distributor with them you will need to have the...

    The VW Vineyard

In short: I have a 70 westy that has 71 brake parts and other strange things done to it by a PO. The driveline is being donated to Emily the velvet green 68 westy, while the interior is going to the 68 westy built in 67. This white relic won't see the road again for a few reasons, and I'm...

    Wanted Westy canvas aluminium strips

My 71 didn't have these in it when purchased. I wound up getting set from a friend from his parts bus. The strange thing was that the holes in the aluminum trim were spaced somewhat differently (close but not perfect) between the strips I got and the holes in the roof of my bus. I'm not sure...

A late intro beats no intro, right?

I just got my hands on this rust free section from a 76/77 that will be easier and cheaper to graft into the green 68 than sourcing all of the different repair panels.

Is there a 1968 one year only list of the different parts?

Neither of my 68 westies have steering wheel locks. The gas filler neck doors do not have any sort of lock or evidence of one being removed. One was built in 67, the other sometime in the spring of 68. My pair of 70s and my 71 also do not have any indication of a gas door lock. The emblems...
