If you are serious, I could store it for you until you get a chance. It’s en route to the highlands and they are well worth the time to visit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Crank trigger ignition - info and ramblings!

Ok, got you now. They look interesting. Do you know the Venturi size on those ? An alternative would to be a single TB mounted in the single carb position to simplify the layout. If you really want to go Dual Twin TBs, then possibly a drive by wire could be implemented and use stepper motors on...

How big can tinware gaps be?

I used some silver foil tape to tape up the seams. It has started to unstick now, but will replace with something a little more grippy when I find it.

Crank trigger ignition - info and ramblings!

Just looked on Eurocarb and they don't seem to have it in stock. I looked on ebay and found these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Throttle-linkage-Lever-Right-hand-40-44-48-IDF-WEBER-CARBURETOR-45034-109-gp1-rs/114083538822?hash=item1a8fe8a786:g:J3sAAOSwiUpa5j2a...

Crank trigger ignition - info and ramblings!

You can get the sensor from the scappies for a few quid, or try triggerwheels. Mario also sells them, plus has the bracket for discrete mounting behind the pulley (I use Mario's set up)

Crank trigger ignition - info and ramblings!

Pretty sure you can get a kit to convert the throttle from right to left. look in Eurocarb website for IDF reverse linkage kit. Should be fairly cheap.

Crank trigger ignition - info and ramblings!

Time flies... is this still work in progress? Any updates ? I am still toying with the idea... There are some decent TBs on Aliexpress for little money and the rest of the kit can be sourced over time....

    Interior options

We do most of the cooking outside the van, have cab bunk for the little one and me and the Mrs are ok with current bed that is around 1m20 wide. R&R seems to be a must as I and fed-up of having to pull everything out and literally "Make the bed" each night, plus there is never enough storage for...

    Delilah's VW Camper Furnishings

Hi Daz, I moved out of Wistow in 1987, used the live the other end of the village opposite Harris Lane on the Ravely/Upwood road. Brings back memories talking about some of these places. Will pm you about my needs for interior/bed etc.

    Interior options

I currently have the original Devon Moonraker interior fitted to my '71 and after 7 years of use, I am getting a little tired of setting up the bed and the storage space etc. I'm going down the rout of getting a bespoke interior made up, with Rusty Lee R&R bed etc so I am looking for...

    Laurie Pettit Engine

Laurie used WBX cranks + Type 4 bearing sets or Mercedes shells. The top ends were usually standard stuff, so any T1 stuff will work with it. If your rockers as shagged then just replace them as required and do a geometry set-up.

    1955cc engine spec

C35 works in a 1955 engine. Plenty of torque. If keeping the stock valve sizes, you should get a decent 3 angle seat cut and back cut the valves for flow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mechanical fuel pump vs Electric?

I run a Durite rotary pump, (suck version) with 2 1/2 psi out put. I have an inertia cutout switch from an MG rover in series with the pump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Door card refurb

I think they also staple the vinyl to the back of the card for extra security. Use the best quality contact adhesive you can buy, preferably high temp stuff. Good luck and post a few photos of the process and results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
