Yep, its on wheels. I should also say its got a type 3 1776 engine in too (though obviously not started for a long time). Basically its a complete car except for carbs, dizzy and gearstick. Theres someone else asking about it too so first to commit can have it. The following weekend should be ok

    Free 71 Baja

Sorry mods, just seen this section is for van and garage stuff only. Please move to the non-earlybay section if it shouldn’t be here. Thanks

    Free 71 Baja

Yep complete car available but obviously there’s a catch ;) This is my brothers car that’s been in our parents garage for 25 years so whether it’s worth tackling the resto is debatable. But it is an original UVA Baja kit so if someone’s after some old school cool here’s your chance. We need...

    was i dreaming

Birth certificate it the only way as far as I know. You could check the build dates of chassis and engine - if they are within a month or so of each other then it's very likely they left the factory together.

Not a huge amount done to this. After redoing the top end, I wasn't happy with what sounded like a bottom end knock so out came the engine again. Stripping it down I found it had a relatively recent rebuild but the No1 main was sloppy on the crank  The quickest solution (or so I...

Very cool What a balance stuff (other than the frosted Windows) does it still have? Dividing glass panel between the can and cargo area?

    69 Single

Today I finally got around to taking out the shitty 90's CD player but the dash was cut to fit it. Any ideas on how to fit a period radio? It's all OG paint so I'm not wanting to weld in a new section. I don't need a radio so another option could be the plastic blanking plates. Do they fit into...

Hey Matty, no real updates planned, just tidy up a few things like getting it to ride a little better. The front beam has urethane bushes fitted so I'll fit needle bearings at some point, and I need to sort out a bottom end knock that's become evident now the compression is sorted

    My '69 Single Cab

I've changed my mind - I don't want to park our SC's together. I'll leave mine hidden around the back of a bush. Looking better with each photo - can't wait to see the end result.
