Sorted....clip holding the speedo cable to the grease cap not there so it had just gone back through. Used a little bit of wire twisted around the end. Cheers Shaun. :o

Hi..the speedo in my bus has stopped working (t2 bay 1972). I have been under the dash and looks like this end is secure. I was wondering what the other end connects to and how east it is to replace if I have too. Cheers.

Problem now solved......bus went back to garage and they fitted a totally new distributor and everything they did was taken off and replaced smartened up the electrics and now seems to be starting...fingers crossed. I am in need of a new inlet manifold as due to this cold weather seems to be...

Cheers... dub boy replaced all fuses and gently squeezed top and bottom of fuse carriers with long nose pliers and indicators, windscreen wipers now working. Going to attempt starting tomorrow. :shock:

Cheers...I now have indicators and windscreen wipers by replacing all fuses and using long nose pliers to gently squeeze top and bottom of some of the dodgy carriers. Still no starting but going to check 12v at coil and points tomorrow. Points look like they are touching but check tomorrow...

After having a new carb fitted and a service new points, rotor arm, ht leads plugs, filters etc I'm having trouble starting my bay.
