    Indicator switch - replacement

Hi all... I think my indicator switch had seen better days. I've struggled with it for a couple of years now. I've read some reviews online that the only replacement one on the market is of pretty poor quality. Has anyone fitted one recently? What did you think of it? My other option is to...

    Replacing an indicator switch.

I've got my MOT coming up at the end of the month and one issue that will definitely be picked up on is a faulty indicator switch. It's got to the point when I've got to hold it down when turning left or right. I had some work done on it last year, which just got it though the MOT. Can anyone...

    Gas bottle.. Silly question??

Hi all, Don't know whether this is a silly question or not, but is there any way of finding how much gas I've got left in my gas bottle? I've been using it for over 2 years now and it just seems to keep going! Don't want to be caught short next time I go away, also don't want to replace it with...

    Indicator/full beam switch

Hi all, Can anyone point me in the right director as to how I can sort out the full beam switch. Indicators work perfectly fine, but when I need to engage the full beam, nothing happens. The switch does not go into the position it should to engage the full beam. Does this mean I need a...

Advice for new owner... Stop me getting too parinoid!

Hi I could do with a little reassurance regarding a couple of things... First of all, I've got the usual oil patch on the garage floor, that's not the problem; what I need to know is how much oil would I expect to find on the outside of the engine oil drain plate? Is a fine layer perfectly...

I've tried a plastic washer. When I did, there was no grip at all. It's as though the thread is not long enough.

    Drivers side wing mirror loose

Any suggestions as to how I can sort out my wing mirror? When I try try tightening it, I get to a point when it just jumps loose again; there just seems to be no grip To really tighten it properly. The screw shaft seems too short for the thread, even without a washer. Should the thread inside...
