    Yep, I've moved my indicating 12v+ signal to the reverse light holders. fitted orange bulbs (well they are silver actually but flash orange). It's quite a common thing to do I believe. The MOT man was happy with that.... And for good measure I mounted a fancy schmancy period Hella auxiliary...

    Hi J, Of ply you can get 'Poplar' and 'Birch' in lightweight...I think the Poplar being lightest. Personally I really like the look of ply end grain when worked neatly :D My units are all mainly birch carcasses, for the weight benefit (with a combination of Oak and Ice white Formica veneer)...
