    Thanks for all your help. This seems a good idea & a better option than the bunk. I had thought of it before but wasn't sure whether the pop top was smaller than on the late bays. The Westy in the show & shine at Dubfreeze was awesome (as is yours creationblue) & pretty much what I'm after.

    Thanks for the info & illustrations. Do other conversions such as Dormobile & Devon offer a similar arrangement in that the extra bunks can only sleep children? If that's the case I'm wondering whether a tin top Westy would suffice as oppose to limiting myself to pop tops only.
