Late bays are lighter on the steering wheel because they have 3.5 turns lock to lock. Earlys have 2,75 turns. I think its an good upgrade, felt i had better controll on worn roads

Hi. I did this swap on my 71 a few years ago. Had to widen the hole trough the frame and move some of the bolt holes. Dont remember how many of them. Also have to use the drop arm from the newer boxes. You also have to hammer the panel in front of the steering box a little forward I did the swap...

Time for a update. The car is now sanded down and most of the bondo stuff is done. Trying to get it painted before may 15 :roll: Engine is almost together, mostly tin work left to do on it. And sorry, no pics today

Well. Welding is almost complete. Time for engine now: Few specs. 76mm stroke. CB Unitec conrods 94 bore Engle FK8 camshaft with 1.4 rockers and Scat lubealobe lifters Mini D heads 37.5 x 40 valves Twin dellorto 45 Alu crankcase :P Anyone who recognize the case?
