this is JJ our 1971 westy LHD cali who was is a sorry state when we found her on vzi but solid as a rock she was ours and the story begins :D

getting her ready for painting was not that hard

then off to steves(spaymek) we go for a little lowering

now painted in vw lotus white she comes home and thats when the fun starts

the wheels was a must and with spax gas adjustables on the front and front beam adjusters we went low :lol:

Now for the interior, first i stript all the old wood

then re-faced all of the westy interior thanks to my dad, a long job but all worth it in the end

all of the upholstery and the cab seats went to J&S upholstery and what a fine job they did

now all of my bits are now ready to get this build finnished i started this project in august 2008 and not havin much time on my hands running my own pub i needed to take some time off so i did and really cracked on with it

Awesome looking van.
Am i right in thinking the trim is the reimo type stuff you can buy from rainbow conversions? hope so cos thats what ive bought.
 
100% fantastic colour, stance, interior it's got the lot , you have every write to be very proud, it looks a little like mine too so you must have great taste.steve
 
you do have a certain style to your vans (heres phill your old van) its still holding up got a few blisters here and there and could do with a was n polish, hope to see you at a show this year,steve
