Hey Paul... mate appreciate all the replies. I'm going to try & get 2 more rear locking nuts 7 cut/machine them vertically... I think they are around 30mm to ill shave off 2-3mm & see what that does.

I have a 1969 RHD Lowie (so wide 5 x 205 stud) and I just bought a new set of Radar 15" rims.
I take them into a mate. New tyres fitted. Fronts go on... then the shit hits the fan! The rears don't...
Well FINALLY... It's done. He has plates.
Picked it up from Geelong the other day... the boys in blue thought they would say hi :lol:
Now all home tucked in bed with him mate.
Mats on the above pic ^^^ do you know what make, profile, width those tyres were?
Is the front just spindles, adjusters or narrowed beam? I won't ask the back haha :lol:

Just been doing a lot of research on Bay/Lowlight Drop Spindles. Seems most of the threads are a few years old.
What are people using? I'm looking for a fully forged set to fit my 71 Lowlight (disc brakes). Not interested in cast!!!
Any info, opinions, pros/cons, photos or links to...

First breath of life.
This was done a few weeks ago.
Cleaned under chassis. Scraped, sanded, air hose... all the crap out. Sprayed sound deadener, new front end bits added, brakes etc etc
OK... been bait slack the last few weeks.
Few more updates. Bling, deluxe trim, shiny bits added, front bumper, rear hatch, new CV's, exhaust, heater tubes, all new brake & fuel lines etc

More deluxe trim on, mirror, rear lights, hatch painted... getting there :wink:
