having my Bay restored next year and i'm contemplating having it dipped - I've seen a splitty and a bug go through the process on beetlecrisis but never a bay. I'd love to know what the general consensus is on the matter. So come on folks throw in your grubby old 2 pence worth :tup

niagra blue and white

SOLD! hehe I knew it was the right way to go! looks a fantastic bus mate! ;-)

it was niagra originally and i understand it was a one year only colour. Only other decision is where to finish the blue and start the white? Do it at the normal place on the body line or take the blue all the way up to the roof? My reasoning on this is how badly paint gets marked by the shite...

I'm due to get started on the resto of my '71 danbury and I'm wondering wether to go back to the original colour (niagra blue) or another colour that suits the year. Does anybody know what the range of colours was for bays in 1971? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. :D
