dents were already in it looked better in the pics than it was it had a lot of bits that had been touched in with a brush and looked crap it was either a respray or a ratandewilson said:did you knock the big dents into the rear corners yourself with a hammer for full effect or were they already there. the day you're stitching a new front panel on it i think u'll regret the whole sanding thing.

once the rusty bits get to desired amount it will be regularly anchor waxed dont worry i keep on top of it ive welded up plenty of rotten british buses to allow it to take hold .the underside has been stripped of old underseal then sprayed with 3 coats of smoothrite then coated with stoneguard its waxoil injected and all rubbers been replaced as i said it looked better in the pics than it was .ive had a few fully restored bays in the past and found i was scared to use them and would never dream of taking them to asda this way i can relax and enjoy using it then maybe restore the paint in a few yearsbaybus70 said:Watch them rusty bits!
