did you knock the big dents into the rear corners yourself with a hammer for full effect or were they already there. the day you're stitching a new front panel on it i think u'll regret the whole sanding thing.

Seems you had a genuine rat to start with.
A bit of lowering and some nice wheels and you would have had it spot on.

dents were already in it looked better in the pics than it was it had a lot of bits that had been touched in with a brush and looked crap it was either a respray or a rat

once the rusty bits get to desired amount it will be regularly anchor waxed dont worry i keep on top of it ive welded up plenty of rotten british buses to allow it to take hold .the underside has been stripped of old underseal then sprayed with 3 coats of smoothrite then coated with stoneguard its waxoil injected and all rubbers been replaced as i said it looked better in the pics than it was .ive had a few fully restored bays in the past and found i was scared to use them and would never dream of taking them to asda this way i can relax and enjoy using it then maybe restore the paint in a few years

Agree with you there! Never take a restored vw to Asda! Vauxhall zafira doors seem to home in on your fresh paintwork no matter where you park!

still be nice to see this one restored one day tho

thats cool guys your entitled to your opinions but in defence all the ones with shiny paint just look the same to me besides the colour at least this way i have no filler ,nothings hidden and it turns heads wherever it goes
