weeeeeelllllllll not done much but big day tomorrow

nearly everything i need to get it back on its wheels has turned up :D
plan of attack is

  • all 4 notches
    mod the back box to increase flow
    fit heater control tubes :)
    fit tubs :mrgreen:

cant wait get a good full days work in fingers crossed get lots done

my bits an bobs to get going again

me mate owed me a favour so got his do some cleaning :D

Hi you couldn't tell me where you found your chassis cut from.I'm after the same sort of cuts but I can't seem to find any breakers near by.Many thanks Chris
 
The rear chassis cut is what I was after ,looks like my rear torsion tube is knackered.
 
Ahhhhhh sorry dude miss understood that :)

Think it was volkshaven or FBI I got it from, got that many bits from them can't remember but both have helped out loads getting bits to me quick :D
 
Ahhhhhh have to pop over sn have a meet up few of us round here :).....
An it's going very slowly.... new job means I can afford shinny bit but no time get the bits done :(

But hopefully picking narrowed beams up for the van an bug next week off slamwerks so going pull me finger out an get everything sorted :)

sooooooooooo sorry never replied had a mad year with a new job an no time :? but thanks for the kind words the tubs made a huge difference :mrgreen:

time for an update never knew i was so far behind :?

loads got done with out an update as was rushing to get to RTTS was mad with the new job too but here goes :)

got heating sorted and blasting in first year of warmth :mrgreen:

fed over axle looks ugly but does the job and blended in nicely after a lot of fiddlleing all going to be redone this winter

wheel test on little differnt time for a change this winter

new narrowed beam on and tripped the end plates to get less diggin in the ground when it catches :shock:

managed get some new door cards too which i was MEGA happy to get, an i think its the correct one for the van, an after a lot of elbow grease came out like this

also managed get this unit for rent at a farm its perfect so proper chuffed the dudes ace an just said come an goes as you like bonus is the guy next to me has a panel an another lad owns a T4 interior place, and the lads over the way a proper into there dubs (but there watercooled so not sure wether to talk to them yet or not ;) ) so just a total win win :mrgreen:

Nice to see someone from my neck of the woods,I'm originally from just down the road from you in Kelsall. I thought everyone on here was from South Wales, Bristol or Derby :mrgreen:

Cheers dude just taking for ever to find all the pictures and up load them but it'll get back up to date soon

An know what you mean don't often see any body local on here were about are you now?
