Ive done a bit of research into this when it was an option for a set of wheels i was looking at.

As far as I found, you cannot buy 5x112 to wide 5 adaptors and you cannot get your old drums drilled as the drill spots are where the casting ridges are.

I gave up :lol:

Bit of a difficult one.......

Im sure you could change to EB wide 5 drums all round fairly easy.....the rears maybe abit more involved spindles/hub carriers etc?)

Otherwise, yeah, discs are the (expensive) way to go. Ive gone CSP front discs recently (but then i was already running wide 5.....)

im sure iv seen narrow to wide 5 adapter plates somewhere. was contemplating this myself.

but like vinco, i gave up :lol:

Will this adapter do the trick? http://adaptitusa.com/5x112to5x130wheeladapter.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's to Porsche stud pattern dude, not wide 5 (5x205)

My bad. Al at Dasresto does them. Not cheap and on the other side of the world but it proves they exist. http://dasrestoparts.com.au/wheels-and-fittings/spacers-and-adaptors/wheel-adaptors-5-x-112-to-5-x-205-sold-individually.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

yup, a number of people sell em, they are between 10-12mm thick.

I've done this. My 1968 bay had been converted to 5x112 in the states.

Creative engineering sell wide 5 drums that bolt straight onto the rear and replace the 5x112 drum.

For the front I went for a split beam

I found these recently don`t know if there any good :)

cheers shaun

Adaptors like the ones on the ebay link are only 15mm thick if your bolt is m14 then this is barely safe imho . For the rears you just swop the whole lot for earlybay stuff inc axle .
