RE-LISTED DUE TO A COMPLETE TIME WASTER

For sale is our 1968 vw microbus. I have spent the last 5 years restoring her but due to us emagrating unfortunatly it has to go. It was built in November 1967 at Wolfsburg... which makes it one of the earliest buses around (chassis 228070054). It is on a k plate as this is when it was imported to the UK and re-registered. I got the van as a complete wreck and have had it restored to a fantastic condition and we had no intention of selling the bus so she has had the best of everything throughout. It is 95% done just the nice bits to finish (putting badge on, chrome trim etc etc which will be included in the sale of the van) With a very little tlc this bus will win shows. Has 12 months mot . Last year i had it independently agreed valued at £11,000 but as the financial state of everything at the minute i will be letting it go cheap as quick sale is needed as we leave England in two weeks.(I have had a lot of people asking what the catch is with this bus? THERE ISN'T ONE it is going cheap only because i am leaving the country with no intention of coming back and i need the money. Whilst restoring the van i used as many nos parts as possible with the intention i would own this van for years to come. The bus has had a 3k bare metal paint job, the engine is completly re-built (not just top end but cam/crank barings) the whole lot. It has had a custom interior based on an Hawian surf shack sunken lights in a thatched look roof wood floor bamboo doors original seats upholstered in appropriatley matching fabrics. Bus comes with a few extras to make it really stand out in a croud (listed below). For more photos see link below and click the photos for more information.

Original ebaspacher from my old trekker

most of delux trim (Original)

delux chrome window insert trim

Chrome front badge

Also any old VW bits i have laid around in the lock up will be included if wanted.

Please call or text me on 07525778044 as i work away all this week and won't have internet access and cant reply to your e-mails Adam

not sure yet the guy who won lives in australia with 0 feedback so looks like another time waster (what is wrong with these people) i have a cheap bus up for grabs and everyone thinks there is a catch.

not going back on ebay now we emagrate in 10 days so unless anyone makes me a sensable offer before then one of my mates is going to take it to the shows this year for me and it will hopefully sell for what its worth there. Hope you don't end up with the idiots looking at your bus like i did mate Good luck.
