68 Engine lid query

Does anyone know if i can get away with fitting a later engine hatch to my 68 bus? i believe the 68 ones are rare and hard to get hold of ?

As long as it's off one with a removeable rear valance no probs

The major difference was the hinge arrangements, early ones bolt on late one are welded on.
