Age related plates

I've tried to find info off the DVLA etc but no joy...Does anyone know how to go about getting age related plates done?

only if you are buying road legal plates....
If you are buying show plates, you do not, although they have a disclaimer printed on the back of the plate stating they are for show use only.
If you buy them with a road legal style and font you will have no problems. They are just missing the postcode from being printed on the front, which you are not required to carry anyway.

If you order here:

and choose show plates in the order form and then the rest of the details as standard silver on black pressed plates you'll not have to produce any paper work.

There are other variations on old school plates here:

although I'm thinking of getting a set of Ali yellow and whites with black plastic letters as that is what the bus would have most likely been delivered with, but can't find them anywhere.

Just reviewing an old post as I'm going to order plates. Looks like http://classic-number-plate.com are the same people behind http://craigsplates.com/
They look nice and I guess others have them but has anyone used http://www.snowchains.com/classicplates/ as they seem nice too. Has anyone got a pic they can show me of their van's plates so I can see fonts etc. This lot http://www.mgm-spares.co.uk/vintage-plates/ do them cheaper but does quality suffer? Anyone got these?

Good to see them in situ. I've got a '70 so just before yours. Any reason why you went for rectangular and notsquare as I thought I need square at the back?

This is a pic of MMMC '70 bay..see the difference in the pressing of the decklid...does suit the square plates, most crossovers have the wider profile like mine
