Has anyone got one of those frames for rolling a car/van onto its side they would be willing to hire out? I desperately need to use one for a weekend or two! Maybe you even have one you want to sell?

Or anyone know of one for sale?

cheers!

Strongy built his own drop him a PM I'm sure he offered it out last year...or may be able to help in building one if you fancy a go...

when you look back at things you do

look at that stack of genral stuff i used to tip it over with.i have a jack that will do it on its own now

that's got to be a 1000% better than lay on the floor burning you nad as you weld!

How easy does it go back up?

its acctually easyer than putting it over. just a length of wood on the gutter then jack it back up

the gutters end up about a foot of the floor so theres loads a room to get a jack in pluss some big wood and padding

like i said, i bought a jack that goes up about a metre,it just reaches the stop then give it a push and gravity takes over.

be warned tho, once over its too easy to find the bad bits  nearly everything in grey is new apart from most of the floor  and that wasent all of it

Just wondering if I could use this in a double garage. Have the floor space but not sure on the height? Any idea what the highest point at roll over would be, looks like height of van + a factor

if its standard hight garage id say no.

could make one with coasters on the rear arms tho, then you could move it in after it were rolled

Cheers for the PM mate.

...and the pics - its not rocket science to make them is it, actually. Maybe I should have a go!
Love the 'stack of bits' for the prop....

Right - time to find a local pipe bender!

Is that tube basically scaffolding tube?

I'm nervous about rolling the van 'complete' - even if I do take what I can out of it - but the access it provides is certainly second to none - and as uber cool says - far better than welding and scraping 3" above my face.

scafold pole bent round a tractor wheel, then a 10mm thick plate milled out to fit from wide 5 to small five and 4 stud bug.

You know, i had that idea as well once i'd made the reply to you.

any chance you could post the length of the tube ' L' shape, as a starter for ten.

thanks
