Hi guys, got a royal traveller tunner awning just trying to work out how it will fit up to the van as i have a 5 bow roof rack?

Any ideas?

Matt

I got around this by cutting the figure of 8 strip into the right lengths to fit between the roof rack supports, it works but you do get drips coming through where the supports are.

If you've got a pole and clamp system I've seen people wedge the pole behind the roof rack supports,

Hope that helps :?:

My Mate has fixed a metal (Devon Style) sleeve on to the wood of the roof rack and he slides the awning into that, it leaves a gap for air but doesn't let the water in.

Hi Matt,
mine has a sleeve that you push a metal pole through ,which then sits in the gutter, and is held in place with a 3 clips, if you have a rack fitted into the gutters, the clips i have allow you to clamp the pole to the under side of the gutter by turning the clips upside down and clamping it on that way (if you know what i mean?.......made sense as i was writing it and seeing it in my head lol )

dont know if yours is attached the same way,......hope this helps mate :)
