Hi guys, know it's been asked a million times before but just about to fit Porsche discs to front and 25mm adaptors on rear with 16 Porsche alloys all round was looking for a mild drop as at stock height at mo, just got a garage and won't fit in, would love red 9 front end but out of my reach at moment what's your opinion on rear one spline drop or adjusters. Would prefer safest way without breaking the bank

Adjusters and a one spline drop is ok for a cheap mild lowering job. Lowered spindles will be less work up front - worth considering?

Hi Clem, thanks for that I was thinking either one spline or adjustables, you think both would work, and my concerns with dropped spindles on front is the wheels fouling

Fouling wheels might be a concern on 16" rims I guess.

As long as you can weld then adjusters are a safe way to lower a van a little bit and cost very little, they will provide adjustment also to overcome any issues with clearance. If you are only lowering midly, then a one spline adjustment on the rear will be fine.

Thanks again Clem, my son in law is pretty handy with a mig so may look at adjusters and maybe keep an eye out some rear adjustables as been told that going down one spline can sometimes cause issue with removing rear wheel think I will try fitting everything then see best way to go.

You change a rear tyre on a one spline drop with no issues, but sure, get adjustable rear springplates if you want them :)
