I know from an early thread people have recommended bromsgrove auto trimmers, but they are fully booked out with work at the moment...

But has any one fitted the Front bra from Colgan Custom as sold by Bluebird conversions? Or at £99 inc P&P are you just getting what you are paying for?

right, i may be being a little dumb here. With these bras, do you leave them on all the time or what. I can understand the idea of protecting your front panel but not if it means never seeing it! seems to sort of defeat the object?? Although i have only been driving my bay for little over a year, it hasn't picked up any chips yet, are they common enough to warrant getting a bra if you prefer the look of the front 'au natural'

I haven't got one but I guess they're quite good for travelling to distant shows and avoiding having to scrape a million flies of your front panel when you get there and want to give the van a quick buff up.
It never ceases to amaze me how much wildlife I collect on the front of my bus in the summer. It's like the Flyville massacre.

Ive picked up quite afew chips on the front panel since ive been doing more long distance runs but my paint isnt perfect so ive got to live with it.

Im not a fan myself and if i had one i would only ever use it on the trip and take it off when i arrived.

If i ever have the bus painted i might consider one once the paint has cured for road trips.

Mine hiding a huge dent where the spare wheel used to be and creased the lower front panel. So its on all the time. However now in the paintshop, so will only be used on long journeys afterwards
