had a trial fit of the N/S door after door shell repair and new skin fitted. the swage line match is pretty good as is the rear edge gap.

now with the swage a line a good/perfect match and the new skin fitting the door frame like a glove i can only think that as we all know the klekkern shiten panel are all over the place.

also the front edge of the door where it meets the front panel starts at a nice 5mm gap to a little over 10mm at the bottom.

what am i gonna do.................. :(

cheers for the boost monkiboy, was just a little deflated last night after the door rebuild went so well.

may have to graft a piece of steel on to the step to "level it". and also down the back edge of the front panel Edge from nothing to about 5mm to match gap all the way up then a light fill and shape, i saw this done ie. make the gap up with filler by a well respected resto company thread on here, but it was'nt clear wether it was applied to the door edge or panel edge
