Can I use a battery charger on a camp site hookup?

Hi all

Sorry another (possibly!) dumb question. I don't have a 240 volt hookup and so had the bright idea of hooking up a battery charger to the mains supply and then just taking power for everything from the leisure battery.

The charger is a good one that can maintain as well as charge so shouldn't cook the battery. Will this work without damaging anything?

When I go away for a while I take my standard battery charger with me so after a few days will connect it up and leave it on overnight. Not had any problems.

You'll probably need the leads and an adaptor for the plug at one end. The hook ups use those 3 round pin connections.
