Hello everyone just joined, just imported a 72 Westy from the U.S. and I'm wondering what you would suggest to use to clean the roof.I'm a bit apprehensive because I don't want to use something that may damage the paintwork.Cheers

Elbow grease.............................If its from the states its most probley quite dry and flat to the touch. If thats the case then a respray is most probley your best bet. See the how to in this months Camper and Bus.

My brother used Cif and a scourer on his and it came up a treat.

I think the thread is called "71 Texan" on here.

the wife used sugar soap and a good old scrubbing brush to get our clean :D  but worked a bloody treat. just make sure you wash it off good and proper

I am cleaning all the interior in my Clipper this weekend and nothing works better than the old type Cif cream detergant and a sponge scourer.

My pop top was hammered. There was strands of fibre glass coming out of it.

I had it repainted. They said it sucked up loads of paint!
