I seem to remember someone on here saying they had coilovers on their bus and wondering how its done.
Ive heard of people loosening the torsion springs some how and fitting coilovers the standard shock mounts. Resulting in the bottom mounting breaking away from the arm as they were only made to mount shock absorbers and not made to support the weight of the vehicle.
Anyone know how its done?
How come coilovers arent a more popular conversion on Bay windows?

It's like the red 9 kit. Broke shock mount load of forum bollocks usually spouted by someone who hasn't fitted coilovers but has read it somehere.I've had coilovers on 2 vans done over 10k miles never had a problem. Or maybe their beam was rotten to start with?
As for weld inadjuster know a few folks that these have failed or come loose.

Fair do's.
Ware did you get yours please?
What did you do to the torsion springs to relax them or are you using adjusters?
Have you got any pix of your set up?
Is the rear of your bus coiloverd?

Rich
