I'm planning a new cupboard for the back of the van but am wondering what material would be best to use. Ply, Hardboard or MDF. It's all going to be covered so the appearance is not an issue. I'm wondering about things like dampness etc. MDF is cheapest and light but is it going to last ...... your thoughts?

Cheers!

I agree, MDF is useless... it absorbs moisture and falls apart over time.
also very hard to nail, glue or screw together. id use marine ply or standard ply as slammed resto said. :D

the guy is going to copy my old units, to make the new one. got his name from someone off JK forum.

his price has obviously gone up a bit, but still i am not complaining with what he quoted me.
