Help!
I want to take the dash top off to repaint it. Can anyone tell me how to get it off?

I've removed all the screws along the leading edge by the windscreen and removed all the vent covers. I have taken out the 4 large screws that hold the main dashboard in place (just so I can pull the whole lot away from the windscreen a bit).
I thought the dash top would then just come away from the padded bit but it seems stuck fast. Am I missing something?

There are about 6 nuts holding the padded top part of the dash down. You can see them by looking up under the dash or by removing the glove box liner and instument cluster, I think they are 10mm socket size from memory. I can't remember if you have to unbolt the grab handle over the glove box as well as it was about a year ago I did mine !

this might help.....
