My bus had a small bump last week   it was fixed by a local VW garage(well i think)
He laser cut off the arch and straighten it and welded it back on   so it has a very small amount of filler, but kept the org metal.

It's been back a week or so now and i'm happy with the work that the chaps done. But the new paint is to shiney and far to bright for the rest of the van.

So what i would like to know is, how can/how should i distress the paint a little. I know that chaps and thread have been put up about "ratting" vans. I only really just need to take the shine of the paint and make it stop looking so clean.
So whats the best way??????

thanks for that araon. Was not really going to touch until next weekend or when it stops snowing

Is it just a case of very fine wet n dry and t-cutting it????
