After 2 years of stripping, beating, pulling, filling, sanding, painting, sanding, painting, rebuilding and MOTing its finally time to do the paperwork. I purchased the bus as a bit of a wreck from a bloke in Glastonbury in June 2012. Ive done all the hard graft and I'm now ready for number plates, only trouble is that because the bus entered the UK in 2010 and the HMRC forms are the old C&E386 the DVLA won't touch it as its not on the NOVA system which came into place last March (2013). Ive rung DVLA and they say I've got to have the NOVA stuff and to contact HMRC but HMRC say I don't require it as it has the C&E386 and that is all I need. Funny that really, as we all know that the taxpayers moneys pays for such well organised government offices. ANY IDEAS WILL GREATLY BE RECEIVED PEOPLE :sign0009:
