I have my new curtains and a new set of track. I have been told to start at the rear view mirror and work around from there. Has anyone got any further tips that might help?

I fitted poppers instead of the curtain track around the cab area because I didn't want any obstruction of view when driving. (with the curtains opened but bunched up near the B pillar, not with the curtains closed, I mean! )
The self tapping screws just went in the hole where the rivets held the curtain track were. Got curtains around the rest of the van though. Just a thought.
