I want to replace my current door panels with some uncovered thin plywood panels I was just wandering if anyone else has done something similar and how you fitted the panels back to the doors?

Check out this thread: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=38185&hilit=varnish&start=340" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Somewhere around that page, anyway.

Lee did an amazing job on his panels, including the cab door ones.

One way would be to used standard ply door panel, with holes and standard clips etc , and use a thin piece of ply on top as a veneer to cover holes/clips...

I recently used these - and they fit well, all the holes lined up....

Polished ply should look great.....

I used velcro to hold most of mine on. Although I should have bought more and gone right around each door card with it. Because it was not strong enough in small sections...

So to hold them on a bit firmer I have used some sections of polished aluminum tile edging riveted to the door.

I forgot to mention in my message , that I made mine from scratch using OG Westy ones as a rough template!
