My 71' front beam shock mount holes are elongated on both sides?

Is it possible to repair these?

Cheers

I'm not certain as the previous owner was running it without front shocks! Do you know how deep those threads go?

Thanks

If you are referring to the top shock mount, it is a nut and bolt. So some play is acceptable.

Yes, it's the top mount for the shock. I'll wait until I've found some old shocks and I'll see how much play I've got.

Cheers for your help

I have some front shocks from a 69 bay if you want them mate 8) PM me
