Front Hubs and Discs

Hi, I have a 71 bay with discs and calipers and 112 pcd, my question is did VW change this set up after 71, if so what did they do?

Someone more knowledgable than me will no doubt put the record straight, but as far as I know, '71 is a 'one year only' setup. I believe the calipers and pads are different after, no idea about the discs. Kept the same PCD though. A flick through some catalogues may shed some light on different part numbers etc? Hope this helps for now!

aug 70 first disc set up small 5, calipers have 1 x bleed nipple
feb 71 2 x bleed nipples
aug 72 larger discs and calipers slight change to hub to accomodate....

early calipers/discs are hard to get and costly late calipers/discs readily available and can be fitted to earlies with a fitting kit costing about 20 notes (or make a set for peanuts) which merely offsets the centre of the calipers....
