Front roof mounted bracket for westfalia pop top

I believe that there's a bracket on the center of the front of the roof that supports the fibre glass pop top but my bus hasn't got one. Its been taken off at some point during its life and has been lost (it's probably in landfill in San Fransisco). Has anyone got any idea what I'm on about and more to the point got one/know where I can pick one up or if worst comes to the worst give me an idea what it looks like so I can fabricate one myself.
The pop top itself has a bracket at the front in the centre that fits on said bracket and I think that it stops the weight of the section denting the front of the bus roof (mines dented and needs repairing).

Well I looked for ages for one of these and could not find one, I believe they were a belts and braces measure to stop the front of the roof lifting in the wind on the motorways :? . Mine snapped and to be honest I now doesnt need one because I have repaired the hinges that had a lot of slack in them.

I dont think they all have them ?

Cheers mucker your a star. Going to vainest this weekend so will have a nosey around for one if not might make one. Do you know if there is an issue if not fitted i.e. roof flying up when driving :?:

Does the top bracket locate to the front or rear of the bottom bracket when closed?
