full beam

hi just went out to move my van and the lights were on full beam??
the only way i could turn them off was to take out the fuse.
but the stawk that controls then has stoped working any ideas thanks

sounds like the relay has stuck, mine did it. Bought a new relay and fine. relay next to the fuses.

Mine used to do this, whenever it rains the relay used to get full of water. The only way to turn the lights off was to either remove fuse or relay.
I've now re-located the relay and as soon as i can be bothered (when it stops raining) i'm going to replace the windscreen seal
