Hi,

I notice K-n-K are selling a Grant steering wheels. Anybody know if these are for bays or splits?

I kind of recall an olive green single cab (on here maybe?) that had a similar wheel (and loads of 914 gauges)?

Thanks,

Mike

I know Grant do the Boss for splits and beetles and I think late bays too but I dont think you can get them for earlys :(

I'll step into this one as I have several Grant 3 bolt adapters for late buses still around here from my retail shop back in the 1990's or so...I'll have to take a look for them later on and see what I have left.

FYI: Mooneye's direct (USA) have quoted me $190 to supply and ship the wheel and a suitable adaptor.

However, Mooneyes said they don't supply their own adaptor and they advise one from the ISPWest site. I found these two...

Both say "ADAPTER FOR BUS 68-74". The first adaptor is for Grant wheels, the second for Banjo wheels.

I'm not up to speed with steering columns etc but aren't there a few different types? Therefore would this adaptor really fit all years 68-74?

Tubdub: Could you say where you founf the info for the "f4#10400"? Is this for a Grant wheel?

Later columns have a smaller spline dia, fitted one on my bus due to dropping clanger  with early one and beetle steering wheel
